Cheap and unsafe products that are sold for use with bio ethanol fuel have recently appeared on the market. This compounds the problem that originated when even some of the more expensive brands were produced and sold with burners and fuel well designs that were not as safe as they should be. An alarming number of these unsafe products remain on the market today.

Buschbeck has been pushing for stricter standards in Europe, for better protection of all consumers. Buschbeck strongly and enthusiastically endorsed development of the new DIN 4734 safety standard for testing and certification through the prestigious German Standards Institute (Deutsches Institut für Normung, otherwise known as DIN).

Buschbeck has led the way in design safety by enforcing their own strict standards within the company. As a result, Buschbeck has developed the safest and highest-quality design for bio ethanol burners and fuel wells.

[Buschbeck products have also been thoroughly tested, approved and certified by the ultimate consumer protection authority in Europe, TÜV Rheinland. TÜV is a German acronym for Technischer Uberwachungs-Verein, or the German Technical Supervisory Control Board.]
